Guerra De La Paz

This is a sculpture that uses old used clothes to create sculptures, but I like the way that the look as images.

Laetitla & Sebastian Photography

This is a French artist, and it doesn't really have to do with liquid light that we are working on right now, but i like the sculptural quality of the bodies they are photographing.

Mold Making

Made the molds for my project and I'm having mixed feelings about how they came out, they look good, but the didn't get the level of detail i wanted, did a rice crispy cast and i'm happy with that because the rice crispies don't allow fine detail, tried to do cookie dough but it just stuck to the mold too much to get it out completely.

Thom Puckey

This is a sculpture that i'm looking at for this week, and these images are from earlier work of his from like the 80's, but i like them as sculptures, but also as photos, because as images the document the work because they are constructed inside of abandoned buildings, so short of being able to actually observe the sculpture in its environment, the photos exist as documents of the work of art.

Unknown?

So I found these images while scouring blogs, and I think they are really cool examples of photography, and sculpture, but I have no info on them, don't know the artist or any thing else, other then that they are quite large. I just like the fact that it merges simple ideas to create something impressive.

Szymon Roginski

So this is an interesting way to use turn photographs into interesting three dimensional sculptural objects, but then he photographs the to create a photo of a three dimensional photo, I know sounds confusing but i think the images are cool, and would be neat if they existed as a sculptural object, vary interesting use of shape, form, and a photograph.

So I Have an Idea

So I have an idea of what it is that I want to do for my uncontrolled project, so stay with me. Ok so I wasn't really too keen on the idea of doing something lost identity largely because I didn't have any really good ideas to do with it, so now I do have an idea and I really like it. But I was really want to do something with the idea of being lost, I haven't completely abandoned it, but at this time, I think it is to difficult to photograph what it is that I want to convey. So what it is that i want to do is self portraits of myself, but what i'm going to do is ask 10 people for an outfit, I'll have no control over what it is that they select for me to ware, and i'm going to build my ten images from that. I'm going to ask Haley if that'll work, so I'm just going to ask tomorrow at the car wash. It is funny though, because I was thinking of this for my studio lighting project, but I like it better for my photo three project. I also have a preformative art idea that stems off of this idea of self identity, but I don't think I can get the materiels I need together in time, but it may pop up later, but not in this class.
